Position: Assistant Manager | People & Purpose | Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability

As an Assistant Manager within Deloitte Middle East’s CR&S team, you will play a critical role in advancing the firm’s sustainability agenda. You’ll contribute across strategy, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and innovation to drive meaningful environmental and social impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Support
    :
    Collaborate with the CR&S team to develop and implement strategies aligned with Deloitte’s regional sustainability goals.

  • ESG Reporting
    :
    Manage internal ESG reporting processes, including data gathering, auditing, analysis, coordination with stakeholders, and timely report submissions.

  • Data-Driven Insights
    :
    Leverage data analysis to pinpoint areas for environmental improvement and support sustainability goal-setting.

  • High-Quality Documentation
    :
    Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and related materials with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Internal Engagement
    :
    Build relationships across departments to enhance awareness and adoption of Deloitte’s sustainability initiatives.

  • Program Delivery
    :
    Assist in rolling out centrally-managed CR&S programs, including conducting research, drafting proposals, and developing communication collateral.

  • Global Collaboration
    :
    Participate in meetings with global and regional teams to align with broader CR&S initiatives and prepare Deloitte ME for upcoming tools and trends.

  • External Partnerships
    :
    Help manage collaborations with external organizations and partners to strengthen sustainability practices.

  • Employee Engagement
    :
    Develop internal campaigns and initiatives to foster employee involvement in sustainability, promoting a culture of environmental and social responsibility.

  • Communication Strategy
    :
    Contribute to both internal and external CR&S communication plans, including monthly newsletters and awareness materials.

  • Content Development
    :
    Create compelling narratives that communicate Deloitte’s social and environmental impact and commitments.

  • Policy Input
    :
    Support the development and refinement of internal policies related to corporate responsibility and sustainability.

  • Technology Enablement
    :
    Assist in evaluating and testing sustainability tools and platforms. Recommend solutions to enhance operational sustainability through technology.

  • Innovation & Ideation
    :
    Contribute to the design of innovative programs and sustainability initiatives that align with Deloitte’s strategic vision.

  • Research & Ad-Hoc Reporting
    :
    Conduct targeted research and prepare reports on sustainability-related topics as needed.

Qualifications
  • Education
    :

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, CSR, Environmental Management, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Communications, or Business.

    • A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Experience
    :

    • 7–8 years of professional experience, ideally within a multinational organization or sustainability-focused role.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong data analytics capabilities and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    , with strong listening and audience-awareness abilities.

  • Comfort working with senior executives and presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Proficiency in copywriting, proofreading, and editorial best practices.

  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proven ability to collaborate in diverse team settings while maintaining ethical standards.

  • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and development.

  • Technologically adept; advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and management platforms.

  • Full fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
