We are seeking an experienced Show Quality and Standards Director to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest satisfaction across our theme parks. The Show Quality and standards Director will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for excellence by implementing rigorous quality assurance programs and standards.

She/he will collaborate with Intellectual Property partners to define each park’s Show & Experience standards.

The Director will also facilitate line of business integration to deliver an integrated and cohesive guest experience across each asset, in line with the park identity and overarching positioning. This will include assuring alignment and complementary approach across entertainment, F&B, Retail, Operations etc. for a wide range of events.

In addition, the Director will be expected to develop proposals, relevant new events and “surprise & delight” activations to continuously enrich the guest experience (Annual Pass events, Food Festivals, Chinese New Year etc.)

The SQS Director will lead the Show and Experience Quality team which currently manages and completes show enhancement work across Miral Experiences assets.

Role Scope:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive show quality assurance programs and processes to ensure adherence to company standards, IP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain clear quality standards for all aspects of theme park operations, including ride attractions, facilities, guest interactions, and overall guest experience.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations of theme park facilities, attractions, and services to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with show quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, safety, and guest services, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of show quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistency and effectiveness in quality assurance effort while maintaining wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance processes, procedures, and findings, and ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to quality assurance and guest experience management.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between theme park management, corporate leadership, and external stakeholders on matters related to quality assurance and guest satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the quality assurance team and across the organization.
  • Conduct periodic/ random competition checks and/or benchmarking to gain learning and identify guest experience, show and storytelling enhancement opportunities.
  • Develop SQS vision, strategy, and prioritized improvement initiatives to continuously drive toward the best guest experience in the industry, including Show/Decors maintenance and enhancements, multi-LOB event positioning and coordination, new guest experience focused events, new “surprise & delight” activations.
  • Develop and formulate budget plan including both OPEX and CAPEX with relevant parties to maintain and improve Show Quality as identified and ensure proper implementation for the expected outcomes.
