An established 3rd generation multinational shipping family which expanded into cargo operation/chartering in 2011 and with offices in Greece, Argentina, Sri‑Lanka and Hong Kong are looking to hire an experienced commodity trader to be based in the newly opened office in Dubai.
Summary of the RoleThe Commodity Trader will play a key role in the company’s international expansion strategy.
Responsibilities- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Commodity Trader within the shipping industry.
- Sound knowledge of cargo back‑to‑back facilitating/arranging trade between the shipper and the receiver.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, agriculture, banking or other social sciences.
- Willing to be based in Dubai, UAE.
- Strong management and organizational skills to establish the new Middle Eastern market and to develop and manage the commodities trading portfolio in the region.
