Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Purchaser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Purchaser in all aspects of procurement and supply chain management. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Purchaser in identifying and sourcing reliable suppliers for various products and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchases and contracts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Handle any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations is preferred.
