Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement function and communicate any supply issues that may impact business operations.
  • Assist in sourcing parts, tools, components, and services in line with required cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in coordination with internal departments.
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm order status, pricing, lead time, and delivery schedules.
  • Collect quotations and assist in comparing prices, specifications, and commercial terms.
  • Maintain supplier records, contact details, and procurement databases.
  • Track deliveries, pending orders, and back orders to ensure timely fulfillment of project requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics, stores, finance, and end users to resolve procurement and delivery issues.
  • Check delivery notes, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy before processing.
  • Assist in preparing procurement reports, purchase summaries, and supplier updates.
  • Support supplier evaluation by compiling performance information and feedback.
  • Ensure procurement records are updated and maintained in line with company procedures.
  • Follow company purchasing policies, approval levels, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of procurement processes and day-to-day administration.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support.
  • Experience in parts, tools, equipment, or service procurement is preferred.
  • Good understanding of purchase orders, supplier coordination, and documentation control.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience in UAE procurement operations is an advantage.
