Lead and manage the company's procurement activities to ensure the timely, compliant, and cost-effective sourcing of goods, services, and works in support of business operations, while strengthening supplier performance, contract governance, value for money, and alignment with organizational policies and service requirements.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Professional qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent procurement certification are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, tendering, contract administration, vendor management, and procurement governance is required.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contracts, purchasing, or supply management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory procurement role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing tender processes, supplier negotiations, contract administration, and vendor performance management.
- Experience in the UAE and familiarity with procurement compliance, documentation standards, and service-oriented operating environments are highly desirable.
- Procurement Planning and Strategic Sourcing - Develop and implement procurement plans and sourcing strategies aligned with the company's operational needs, budgets, and service priorities, ensuring timely acquisition of goods, services, and works at the best overall value.
- Tendering, Negotiation, and Contract Award - Lead end-to-end tendering and sourcing activities, including preparation of RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, supplier negotiation, recommendation of awards, and contract finalization in accordance with delegated authority, policy, and business requirements.
- Supplier Relationship and Performance Management - Establish and manage supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, resolve commercial issues, and support supplier development and rationalization to ensure continuity of supply, service quality, and long-term value creation.
- Procurement Governance, Compliance, and Reporting - Ensure procurement activities are fully documented, auditable, and compliant with the company's policies, approval authorities, and applicable governance requirements, while providing accurate reports on sourcing activity, savings, vendor status, and procurement performance.
- Team Leadership and Process Improvement - Lead and develop the procurement team, allocate workload effectively, strengthen procurement processes and controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service responsiveness, and value delivery across the procurement function.
