Senior Analyst, Business Support (PMO) – Abu Dhabi

Halian have partnered with a flagship, master-planned urban development in Abu Dhabi to identify a high-caliber Senior Analyst for their Program Management Office. This is a unique mandate—our client is a globally recognized sustainability pioneer, but the search is being conducted confidentially at this stage. The role sits at the very heart of the organization, directly supporting the CEO’s office, the Board, and Steering Committees.

About the Client

Our client is the city management and development entity of one of the world’s most iconic sustainable urban projects. Operating across diverse business units—from real estate and utilities to innovation and community services—the organization demands exceptional governance, strategic alignment, and precise performance reporting. The PMO is the nerve centre that ensures this complexity runs smoothly at the highest level.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Executive & Board Reporting: You will craft decision-support packs, strategic submissions, and performance reports for the Board, Steering Committees, and CEO’s office. This is not just formatting slides; it’s about analysing data, identifying insights, and telling the performance story.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance: You will manage and update the policy framework, coordinate the closure of internal audit findings, and support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities.
  • Performance & Financial Tracking: You’ll own the monthly KPI and budget-variance reporting, monitor manpower plans, and assist with financial planning.
  • Process Excellence: You’ll map “as-is” and “to-be” business processes, identify control gaps, and serve as the bridge between business units and IT to translate requirements for system enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: You’ll be the primary point of contact to collate inputs from across all functions, prepare meeting materials, track actions, and ensure the office of the Associate Director and CEO runs with rigorous discipline.
Who We’re Looking For

The hiring team has been explicit: they want a profile shaped by a structured advisory environment. The sweet spot is someone with 4-6 years in a consulting firm
, now ready for a high-visibility industry role.

Ideal background:

  • Experience in Risk Advisory, Performance Improvement, Business Transformation, or Internal Audit.
  • Exposure to a PMO environment, or having worked closely with one.
  • A track record of preparing materials for Boards, Steering Committees, or C‑suite readership.
  • Hands‑on involvement with ERM, BCM, or the closure of internal audit actions.
  • Comfortable with policy management, process documentation, and KPI frameworks.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint are your tools of precision).
  • Flawless English communication, both written and verbal.
