Supplier Relationship Manager
Key Responsibilities
The Manager Supplier Relationship will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, reliability, and timely delivery. The role involves evaluating supplier performance, conducting regular reviews, resolving commercial and operational issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will work closely with procurement, contracts, finance, and project teams to align supplier strategies with business and project requirements.
Responsibilities also include negotiating framework agreements, managing supplier risk, ensuring compliance with contractual and company policies, and supporting cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or contracts within construction, civil, or precast industries
- Proven experience in managing strategic supplier relationships and long-term framework agreements
- Strong knowledge of the UAE supplier and subcontractor market
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and risk management
- Experience working closely with project, procurement, finance, and contracts teams
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
- Ability to handle multiple suppliers and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
