Role: GAC Marine Crewing Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute crew changes of assigned vessels, ensuring efficient and timely manning to minimize overdue days and meet client-specific requirements.
- Process monthly payroll entries and review invoices for crew-related activities.
- Ensure prompt crew mobilization to maintain operational schedules and prevent exceedance of contractual sea service periods.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date crew documentation in both physical files and the digital crewing management system.
- Process monthly crew payroll register, including reimbursements, to avoid arrears and discrepancies.
- Optimize costs for travel, visa processing, medicals, and other logistics while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with vessel sea staff and other departments to promote transparent communication and mutual trust.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Formal training in crew management or relevant management courses.
- Understanding of international maritime regulations, including MLC 2006 and STCW.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a crewing assistant role within the maritime industry.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
