Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To plan and ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities in the CNG & Hydrogen filling stations as per standards and manufacturer’s recommendations. Optimum utilization of available resources – manpower and materials. Efficient utilization of CNG trailer for supply of CNG to daughter stations from CNG mother stations.

• Manage the daily CNG trailer filling at mother stations and ensure safety and timely transportation to daughter stations to avoid dry‑outs.
• Ensure all safety precautions are taken and work permits are issued before commencement of work, and that instructions are strictly followed during all stages of work at any CNG station equipment.
• Conduct regular station visits to inspect facilities at CNG & Hydrogen stations, ensuring operations are carried out safely and in accordance with standards and recommendations.
• Conduct site training periodically for all CNG & Hydrogen filling station fillers and operators, ensuring they are familiar with the facilities.
• Maintain safe operation of the CNG & Hydrogen facility, record all CNG filling and dispatch data, and prepare dispatch schedules for filled trailers.
• Initiate corrective action with respect to operation Control Services, where necessary or as per company policy.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the CNG Operations Engineer.
• Stay on standby call 24 hours a day for any emergency calls.
• Ensure all jobs are carried out as per standards and recommendations, following work instructions.
• Maintain and update documents in custody as per Document Control Procedures.
• Carries out duties in accordance with specifications, company policies, and regulations.
• Participate in the commissioning of new CNG & Hydrogen Stations as per approved procedures.
• Plan, organize, and supervise Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for all NG activities including compressors, dispensers, and trailers & heads, ensuring quality and compliance with HSE policies.
• Ensure all staff is trained on safety regulations, procedures, and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with HSE, instruct operators, trailer drivers, and labourers, ensuring the job is carried out safely.
• Coordinate regarding Quality Assurance matters and maintain all documents according to ISO policies and procedures.
• Organize storage of scrap products in quarantine area and ensure no issues arise.
• Prepare monthly and weekly reports as required and monitor CNG & Hydrogen facilities performance.

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or another related discipline.

• 5-6 years of experience as a supervisor managing CNG/NG operations.
