Senior Product Manager - Home Finance

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose

To lead and manage the performance of Home Finance and real estate products as per the bank's strategy. The role implements strategy through the management of product financials, parameters, processes, business development, and marketing plans. The PM has end-to-end ownership of all aspects of product performance.

The Senior Product Manager is also the sole owner of the product manual, which must be kept up-to-date and include all required policy, procedure, and approval documents.

Key Accountabilities of the role
  • Generating client leads to finance real estate property.
  • Counseling customers on market conditions, rates, prices, and mortgages.
  • Developing competitive market pricing by comparing other banks.
  • Creating lists for real‑estate sale properties with information on location, features, square footage, etc.
  • Building a customer case with all required documents as per ADIB TM/RAC.
  • Finalizing deals with customers for signing facility offer letters, mortgage contracts, and other related documents.
  • Facilitating negotiations between buyers and sellers.
  • Reviewing purchase contracts to ensure terms are met.
  • Promoting properties with ads, listings, and open houses.
  • Preparing loyalty contracts, purchase agreements, rental agreements, deeds, and other documents for each real‑estate transaction.
  • Maintaining real‑estate license and knowledge.
Products
  • Manage and prepare products (design, development, and enhancement) to ensure alignment with market needs; lead product innovation and marketing.
  • Develop and cascade the bank's strategy into Home Finance strategies, translating it into business plans, product initiatives, marketing, and business development steps for vertical alignment and integration with other functions.
  • Maintain product/credit programs and manuals, updating procedures and approvals; document should cover product description, sales channels, distribution, third‑party agreements, partner lists, org charts, financials, and special memos.
  • Update product pricing documents periodically to reflect market positioning, cost‑of‑funds variations, and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain practical product term sheets for internal and external use.
  • Follow up on internal and Sharia audit points, maintaining a log of closed and opened items.
  • Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Document and keep all product policies and procedures manuals up to date, ensuring implementation and testing through a key controls self‑assessment process (KCSA).
  • Continuously enhance current processes by identifying gaps and improvement opportunities in technology, WFS, CRM systems, etc.
  • Obtain Sharia, operations, and legal approvals for all P&P changes when necessary.
  • Set service‑level agreements by liaising with internal departments such as Credit, Sharia, Legal, and MPM to ensure optimal turnaround times for customers.
  • Act promptly to resolve or escalate unresolved issues to appropriate levels.
  • Act as a customer service and experience ambassador by leading from the front.
  • Business Development
  • Provide market intelligence based on updated market scans and competitive positioning to fine‑tune business direction.
  • Transform strategy into business partnerships with mortgage brokers, real‑estate brokers, developers, evaluators, land departments, government programs, title transfer officers, and solicitors through MOU signing processes.
  • Follow up on relevant units and departments externally and internally to achieve strategic partnership objectives.
  • Identify and recommend ADIB participation in industry events and project financing such as cityscapes and IPS.
  • Initiate networking events and set attractive agendas for broker events.
  • Set up training programs for business partners internally and externally to introduce current products and enhancements with major promotions.
  • Establish current channel distribution ratios and evaluate enhancement activities such as referral incentives and payout volumes.

Work closely with the marketing team to develop product collateral such as FAQ flyers, customer application forms, declaration forms, product feature flyers, and customer letters.
