The Associate, Business Process Excellence (BPE) plays a pivotal delivery role in driving process excellence, continuous improvement, and operational performance across TAQA Distribution. The role supports enterprise-wide Lean initiatives, process optimization, automation and analytics use cases, and capability building, in line with the TAQA Distribution Way and post-merger transformation priorities. This position is hands‑on, impact-driven, and highly cross‑functional, working closely with business units, IT & Digital, IT, People & Culture, and Strategy to translate improvement opportunities into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement- support the identification, analysis, and prioritization of process improvement opportunities across end-to-end value streams.
- Facilitate Lean improvement initiatives (Kaizen, A3, DMAIC, PDCA), from problem definition through implementation and benefits tracking.
- Conduct process diagnostics, root cause analysis, waste identification, and baseline performance assessments.
- Support the standardization, documentation, and optimization of core and supporting business processes.
- Actively support the delivery of the Lean trainings and TAQA Way deployment across functions.
- Coach and support improvement initiative owners in developing charters, A3s, and implementation plans.
- Track initiative progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization in coordination with the BPE team.
- Contribute to change management, engagement, and communication activities linked to Lean and continuous improvement.
- support the identification and assessment of automation, RPA, AI, and digital optimization opportunities in collaboration with IT and BPA CoE.
- Contribute to process analytics, performance dashboards, and KPI monitoring (e.g. Power BI, process mining outputs).
- Assist in data analysis, reporting, and insights generation to support decision‑making and leadership reporting.
- support governance processes for improvement initiatives, including stage gates, approvals, and documentation.
- Track benefits (financial and non‑financial), validate assumptions, and support value realization reporting.
- Prepare high‑quality executive‑level presentations, dashboards, and progress reports.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and co‑design practical solutions.
- Act as a trusted BPE partner to functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Support cross‑functional collaboration to avoid siloed improvements and drive enterprise impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in business process excellence, continuous improvement, operations excellence, or consulting.
- Hands‑on experience in Lean methodologies.
- PMP or similar certification.
- Experience supporting cross‑functional improvement initiatives in large or complex organizations.
Exposure to digital transformation, automation, analytics, or process mining is a strong advantage.
