Professional Head – Network Operations; OCC

The Professional Head – Network Operations (OCC) leads the development of Company's network operations function, including the Operations Control Centre (OCC), train control, ETCS Level 2 operational principles, Rule Book development, degraded operations, possession planning and network performance management.

Acting as the Technical Authority for network operations, the role establishes the control philosophy, network operating procedures, timetable management arrangements and incident management framework required to operate the 303 km UAE–Oman network safely and efficiently.

The position mobilises and develops the OCC organisation, supports Testing & Commissioning and trial operations, and provides network operations input into the Company Operations Safety Case and regulatory authorisation.

Prior to commercial operations, the role will focus on operational readiness activities in respect of network operations as determined by the Operational Readiness Plan.
