We are partnering with a major international organization undertaking a significant transformation of its Commercial and Procurement function. As part of this journey, we are seeking exceptional professionals across leadership and specialist levels to help build a world-class commercial capability supporting a large, complex operational portfolio.
We are not seeking traditional procurement administrators, buyers, or contract managers. We are looking for individuals who have successfully transformed commercial and procurement organizations, challenged legacy ways of working, and delivered measurable business value.
Executive Leadership OpportunitiesWe are seeking commercially minded leaders with proven experience in transforming enterprise procurement and commercial functions through strategy, governance, operating model redesign, digitalization, capability building, and organizational change.
Successful candidates will have experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organizations.
Candidate ProfileWe are particularly interested in professionals who have:
- Typically accumulated 15-25 years of experience within procurement, commercial, supply chain, operations, transformation, or management consulting environments.
- Held senior leadership positions such as Procurement Director, Commercial Director, VP Procurement, VP Supply Chain, Head of Procurement, Head of Commercial, Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), Transformation Director, or equivalent.
- Worked within large, complex organizations with significant operational, capital project, manufacturing, infrastructure, industrial, energy, utilities, mining, transportation, defence, aviation, or multinational corporate environments.
- Successfully led enterprise-wide transformation programs delivering measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, governance, supplier performance, risk management, and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated the ability to influence executive leadership teams, Boards, and senior stakeholders while driving organizational change.

Examples of Relevant ExperienceWe are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience in one or more of the following:
- Leading the transformation of a procurement or commercial function from a transactional model to a strategic business partner model.
- Designing and implementing category management frameworks across multiple business units or geographies.
- Building procurement excellence or commercial excellence functions from the ground up.
- Delivering significant cost savings, value creation, or spend optimization programs across multi-billion-dollar spend portfolios.
- Developing and implementing procurement operating models, governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
- Leading supplier rationalization, localization, supplier diversity, or supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Implementing enterprise procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Ivalua, Jaggaer, or similar platforms.
- Driving digital procurement transformation through automation, AI, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Supporting major capital projects, infrastructure programs, turnarounds, or large operational portfolios.
- Building, restructuring, and leading high-performing commercial or procurement teams.
- Delivering post-merger integration, organizational redesign, shared services, or procurement centralization programs.
- Leading strategic sourcing initiatives that improved commercial outcomes, reduced risk, and enhanced supplier relationships.
- Managing procurement and commercial activities across multiple regions, countries, or business units.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of challenging conventional practices, introducing industry-leading methodologies, and delivering sustainable business improvements. They will combine strong commercial acumen with transformational leadership capabilities and a passion for building high-performing organizations that create long-term value.
