Position: Photographer & Video Producer (UAE National only )

Photographer & Video Producer (UAE National only)

The Senior Photographer & Video Producer is responsible for delivering high-quality photography, videography, and video editing services to support the Muslim Council of Elders’ institutional communications, international events, and media coverage. The role requires a highly skilled visual professional capable of documenting high-level meetings with prominent public figures, capturing impactful content at global events, and producing polished visual material for social media, press, and archival use.

This position demands exceptional technical ability, cultural and diplomatic sensitivity, and readiness to travel frequently to represent the Council at major international engagements.

Key Responsibilities Photography
  • Capture high-quality images of official meetings, VIP delegations, conferences, ceremonies, and institutional activities.
  • Produce editorial portraits and candid images of key figures while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
  • Apply advanced photo editing and retouching using professional software like Photoshop to ensure brand consistency.
  • Deliver rapid photo selections for social media and media releases when required.
  • Organize, caption, and archive images according to the Council’s file management standards.
Videography
  • Film high-level meetings, keynote addresses, panel discussions, interviews, and institutional events.
  • Operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment with precision.
  • Capture clean dialogue audio and ensure stable, well-composed footage in dynamic environments.
  • Plan and execute b-roll that reflects the Council’s values and key messages.
  • Edit video content for social media, campaigns, internal communications, and event documentation.
  • Produce multiple versions of videos (Arabic/English subtitles, different aspect ratios, various durations).
  • Incorporate titles, graphics, lower thirds, and brand elements in compliance with identity guidelines.
  • Ensure all outputs meet the highest technical and aesthetic standards.
  • Apply advanced video editing and use professional software like Adobe Premiere Pro to ensure brand consistency.
  • Attend internal briefings to understand messaging priorities, protocols, and required deliverables.
  • Support the planning of shoots, shot lists, and visual concepts for major institutional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with protocol teams, event organizers, and security to ensure access and smooth coverage.
  • Prepare and maintain all equipment, ensuring readiness and availability at all times.
Asset Management & Archiving
  • Maintain a structured digital archive of all photos, videos, and project files.
  • Ensure proper file naming and metadata practices for long‑term retrieval and documentation.
  • Manage backups and ensure secure storage of all visual material.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Photography, Film Production, Media Studies, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in photography, videography, and video editing.
  • Demonstrated experience covering high-level events, official meetings, and institutional environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both photography and video production work.
Travel & Availability Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for international events, conferences, and global engagements.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary visas.
Languages
  • Strong proficiency in English required.
  • Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
  • Additional languages are beneficial due to the Council’s international activities.
