International Advisory BoardThe International Advisory Board (IAB) is a consultative body that operates in support of Hedayah’s organizational mandate and it’s International Steering Board.
Principal Accountabilities- Support the Director of Corporate Communications in the development of effective content for Hedayah’s communications activities and plans, social media calendars and deliverables that align with the Communications Strategy and plan.
- Tell Hedayah’s stories through developing, writing and editing engaging content, including videos, graphics, social media posts, direct communications products (such as newsletters, emails and reports), website updates and presentations that are aligned with Hedayah’s communications strategy, brand guideline and tone of voice.
- Develop creative concepts, and engaging content for full campaigns.
- Film and produce visual assets and video content such as infographics, photography, and videos in fulfillment of the organization’s communications plans and calendar, requests by Director of Corporate Communications or leadership, and for on-ground events/activities where required.
- Lead and evolve brand design and ensure brand guidelines consistency and implementation across all Hedayah’s brand deliverables.
- Proactively research trends, identify and pursue impactful new content and creative concepts to amplify Hedayah’s brand presence on various communication platforms, in line with Hedayah’s communications strategy and tone of voice.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to generate ideas that will amplify their programs and ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals.
- Support senior management and other departments of Hedayah on their content and creative requests, and with other duties as assigned or required, which may be in line with the overall objectives of the role and the organization.
- Support internal communications activities when requested.

- Bachelor’s degree in media production, Film, Photography, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in photography, videography, and editing (Government and/or international experience is a plus).
Must have the skills to produce engaging, high-quality content (video & photo shooting, design, graphics, simple creative writing and video editing) to amplify Hedayah’s brand voice, reach, and impact, through the different platforms.
- Proficiency in using professional cameras, lighting equipment, and video production tools.
- Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and/or similar.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and composition.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and content optimization.
- Proven skills in converting complex text into creative multimedia products.

- This role will be based full-time in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Applications to work remotely / from a different duty station will not be considered.
- The post holder may be required to travel internationally.
