Job Summary
Senior Graphic Designer will drive creative output across a range of projects and communication campaigns. You will play a key role in upholding and evolving MAKE's visual identity, ensuring consistent branding across all platforms and touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Management – Maintain and evolve MAKE's brand guidelines across all visual content; ensure consistency in visual language across platforms and departments; lead internal brand reviews and visual alignment workshops.
- Creative Production – Design marketing collateral (posters, flyers, brochures, reports, presentations). Format documents and forms for use in operations, education, and programming. Create newsletter layouts, campaign visuals, social media content posts, stories, animations. Document classes, events, and maker projects in a clear, natural visual style. Edit and archive media for reuse, maintain image banks, and support storytelling needs.
- Environmental Spatial Design – Lead branding for the MAKE facility including signage, environmental graphics, packaging, and retail layouts. Coordinate with vendors and installers for implementation of spatial branding.
- Collaboration – Communication – Work closely with the Communications and Community Lead to align visual tone with messaging. Guide freelance designers or junior team members as needed. Manage timelines, version control, and ensure timely delivery of all creative outputs.
- Content Creation – Marketing Support – Develop original high‑quality visual content (photos, graphics, videos) for digital campaigns and community engagement. Support campaigns promoting educational programs, store activities, seasonal offers, and makerspace news. Optimize company presence across platforms:
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, Snapchat, Linked In. Design corporate and branded materials (presentations, packaging, signage). - Team Collaboration – Collaborate with Education Manager, Programme Relationships Manager, and other departments to promote initiatives. Ensure professional and effective communication across teams.
- Education:
Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Mass Communication, or related field (preferred). - Experience:
3–5 years in senior or lead graphic design roles. Proven experience in managing visual branding and multi‑platform content creation. - Technical
Skills:
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, After Effects. Fluent in Arabic and English. - Personal
Skills:
Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail. Effective communicator with excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. Familiarity with social media platforms and creating content tailored to each. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Conflict resolution and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
