This role requires a highly organized and digitally savvy professional responsible for the day-to-day publishing, optimization, and performance monitoring of Sky News Arabia’s social media content. The role ensures timely, accurate, and platform-appropriate distribution of news and multimedia content, including breaking news and live coverage, while supporting audience engagement and continuous performance improvement. It requires close coordination with editorial, newsroom, video, and design teams, with a strong focus on accuracy, speed, platform trends, analytics, and adherence to editorial and brand standards.

• Publish approved news stories, videos, graphics, live streams, and promotional content across Sky News Arabia’s social media platforms.
• Prepare and adapt accurate, clear, and engaging captions, headlines, descriptions, and hashtags for each platform.
• Schedule posts and redistribute or repurpose content according to performance and audience demand.
• Verify captions, links, tags, thumbnails, subtitles, and visual assets before publication to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Follow the daily publishing schedule and implement instructions provided by Unit lead.
• Support the timely publication of breaking news, live updates, and major planned coverage under editorial supervision.
• Monitor published content, make approved updates or corrections, and report any editorial or technical issues promptly.
• Coordinate with social media editors, journalists, video editors, designers, and newsroom teams to obtain approved content and publishing assets.
• Support the cross-promotion and republication of content across relevant platforms and monitor basic post-performance when requested.
• Use approved publishing, scheduling, content-management, and AI-enabled tools efficiently while protecting account access and confidentiality.
• Monitor real-time performance, audience behaviour and platform trends.
• Produce daily and weekly reports covering content performance, audience trends and key data.
• Improve reach, views and engagement through testing and continuous optimization.
• Manage audience interaction and community engagement.
• Support rapid publishing during breaking news and working across different shifts.
• Ensure all published content complies with Sky News Arabia’s editorial guidelines, brand standards, and platform requirements.
