Role Descriptiondigitalfarm is seeking a talented and experienced Art Director – Designs and Creatives to lead the visual direction and graphic design output across a diverse portfolio of clients.
The role will focus primarily on developing strong graphic design concepts and visual identities for social media, digital campaigns, brand communications, and other creative projects. You will be responsible for taking creative ideas from concept through to execution, while ensuring a consistent, high-quality visual standard across all deliverables.
Working closely with Creative, Social Media, Content, Production, and Account Management teams, the Art Director will provide creative direction to designers, contribute to campaign ideation, and remain hands-on in developing and refining key creative assets.
This role is ideal for a senior graphic designer ready to take on greater creative ownership and lead the visual direction of projects while continuing to be actively involved in the design process.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the graphic design and visual direction of social media campaigns, digital campaigns, and branded content.
- Develop creative concepts, visual identities, mood boards, layouts, and art direction for campaigns and content.
- Translate creative and strategic briefs into strong, engaging visual solutions.
- Establish and maintain consistent visual direction across client accounts and campaigns.
- Create and oversee graphic design assets across social media, digital advertising, presentations, activations, and other communication channels.
- Provide creative direction, guidance, and constructive feedback to graphic designers and other creatives.
- Collaborate with Creative, Social Media, Content, Production, and Account Management teams to develop and deliver creative work.
- Work hands-on in the design process, particularly on key campaign assets and high-priority projects.
- Review and refine creative output to ensure a high standard of design, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Develop creative approaches for different social media platforms, formats, and audiences.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design-led ideas.
- Present creative concepts and visual directions internally and to clients when required.
- Ensure all artwork follows client brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and technical requirements.
- Support new business opportunities, pitches, RFPs, and creative proposals.
- Stay up to date with graphic design trends, social media aesthetics, emerging technologies, and evolving visual styles.
- Contribute to maintaining and elevating the overall graphic design standards of the agency.
- 6+ years of professional experience in graphic design, art direction, or a related creative role, preferably within an advertising, digital, or social media agency.
- Proven experience leading the visual direction of campaigns and managing design output across multiple brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional graphic design, creative concept development, and visual storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, colour theory, visual hierarchy, and brand identity.
