• Create a classroom environment that supports high-quality learning and teaching.
• Establish clear teaching objectives and determine how learning will be delivered and assessed.
• Plan Psychology lessons with appropriate structure, pace, motivation and challenge.

• Attend required staff briefings.
• Follow academy procedures when leaving and returning to the site during the normal working day.

• Contribute to the development of Psychology and other assigned areas of academy work.
• Develop plans with clear targets and success criteria for subject development or maintenance.
• Participate in whole-academy vision and development activities.
• Work constructively with colleagues to support teaching quality and student outcomes.

• Bachelor 's Degree in Education or another relevant field with a teaching qualification.

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Psychology or the specialist subject up to GCSE and A Level is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
