Job Purpose Design, produce and present electrical engineering training courses for nominated employees at job sites. Deliver general and tailored technical instruction, administer training assessments and maintain course quality in accordance with company standards. Support trainees in developing the knowledge and practical understanding required for their assigned responsibilities.
Technical Training and Course Delivery- Design and deliver electrical engineering courses and training sessions for employees at different experience levels.
- Prepare training materials and structured lesson plans that meet identified technical requirements.
- Conduct recurring general courses and specialized courses tailored to operational needs.
- Test participants ' understanding, identify knowledge gaps and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Evaluate the content and delivery quality of third-party training providers.
- Encourage trainees to share operational experiences, learning expectations and feedback.
- Introduce effective industrial techniques and practices into technical instruction where relevant.
Develop training plans based on the needs of ADNOC assets and functions. Analyze training gaps and establish appropriate actions to address them. Consider accident investigation findings and post-course evaluation results when reviewing training requirements.
- Compile training requests received through ASK HC, email, telephone and other established channels.
- Coordinate trainee nominations, selection, testing, examination results and progress follow-up.
- Prepare assessment documents and evaluate course effectiveness.
- Review attendance sheets, examination records and evaluation reports to maintain training statistics.
- Organize and retain training records through an established filing system.
- Deliver basic safety and related training for ADNOC Onshore personnel and contractors on demand, including H2S, BA and WMS courses.
- Follow relevant technical policies, procedures, controls and applicable legislation.
- Apply sustainability guidelines, international standards, recognized practices and ADNOC Codes of Practice within the assigned training discipline.
- Produce training packages in the required formats, including PowerPoint presentations and eLearning storyboards.
- Maintain course records, trainee assessments and supporting documentation.
- Prepare regular training expenditure sheets to monitor costs associated with equipment, books and externally sourced learning resources.
- Report training program activities and outcomes to the Team Leader, Training Center.
- Communicate with line managers, advisors, supervisors and coordinators on nominations, trainee progress, results and feedback.
Seek constructive feedback and professional development opportunities to strengthen teaching effectiveness. Develop new approaches to learning, encourage trainee participation and support continuous improvement in technical training delivery.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor 's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
Experience and Skills- 7 years of experience, with work exposure in oil and gas, petrochemical or chemical processing environments.
- At least 1 year of training experience, including the ability to prepare training materials.
