Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher of MOE for a maternity cover opportunity in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The position requires an educator with strong curriculum knowledge, effective classroom practice, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences that support students across different abilities and learning needs. The successful candidate will deliver the appropriate MOE curriculum while maintaining high standards of teaching, assessment, student progress, behaviour management, and safeguarding.
The role also involves close collaboration with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals supporting student development.

- - Teach using the appropriate MOE syllabus, materials, and schemes of work.
- - Plan long-term, medium-term, and short-term lessons and learning sequences that address individual pupil needs.
- - Organize classroom resources and displays to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- - Prepare and deliver lessons suitable for the full range of abilities within the class.
- - Create a classroom climate that supports high-quality teaching and learning.
- - Motivate students through enjoyable and creative lessons that provide appropriate challenge and encourage critical thinking.
- - Observe and assess pupils in accordance with school assessment procedures.
- - Review classroom provision, lessons delivered, and student progress, adapting planning and learning activities where necessary.
- - Differentiate learning to support SEN, POD, EAL, and gifted and talented students.
- - Collaborate with professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists when required.
- - Facilitate face-to-face, hybrid, and distance-learning lessons when required as part of the school 's learning provision.
Assessment and Student Progress Take responsibility for student progress within the class and use prior attainment information to establish appropriate expectations and learning targets. Monitor development consistently and provide clear, constructive feedback that helps pupils understand their progress. Meet school assessment requirements and maintain student development records using Target Tracker. Use assessment findings to inform subsequent lesson planning, classroom provision, and appropriate learning interventions.
Provide parents and carers with relevant feedback about student achievement and development through parent-teacher conferences and meetings.
- - Follow established school policies and procedures covering behaviour, conduct, safeguarding, and student welfare.
- - Manage classes effectively using approaches appropriate to individual student needs.
- - Inspire, motivate, and appropriately challenge pupils.
- - Build positive relationships with students while exercising appropriate authority when necessary.
- - Model the attitudes, values, and behaviour expected from pupils.
- - Maintain high expectations for good conduct while encouraging self-control and learner independence.

Wider Professional Responsibilities Work collaboratively within curriculum action groups and contribute to planning, assessment, learning resources, and special events connected with the team. Support school events, outings, and extracurricular activities, including activities that may take place after school hours. The successful candidate will also run a weekly extracurricular activity each term. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student achievement and well-being, using established school systems and processes such as CPOMS where appropriate.
