Role

Purpose:

This role involves collaborating with Relationship Managers across Priority coverage teams, ensuring the suitability of investment products, conducting regular portfolio reviews, and providing rebalancing recommendations based on the client’s risk appetite and time horizon. Drive sales quality and client satisfaction while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements. Act as the Subject Matter Expert to support investment solutions and build portfolios that align with the bank's strategy, provide timely market insights, and position ADIB as a thought leader in the investment space.

Key

Accountabilities Client Portfolio Management & Reviews
  • Oversee and review client investment portfolios, ensuring that periodic reviews are conducted and documented to align with clients' risk profiles and objectives.
  • Provide guidance on wealth products, asset allocation, and investment strategies to support front line teams across Priority coverage, ensuring alignment with clients' long‑term goals.
  • Recommend portfolio rebalancing strategies where necessary to keep client portfolios in line with evolving goals and market conditions.
  • Advise Relationship Managers on investment opportunities, client needs, and portfolio adjustments based on market conditions and client profiles.
Sales & Client Relationship Management
  • Support Relationship Managers in managing and signing up NTW clients to grow UHNW and HNW client portfolios.
  • Secure and manage the investment pipeline and play an integral role in client fundraising and placement of investment offerings.
  • Contribute to achieving Wealth Management financial targets and promoting fee/recurrent income generation.
  • Provide guidance on asset allocation, investment strategies, and risk management, ensuring alignment with client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
  • Monitor client feedback and resolve any client‑related issues promptly to maintain a high standard of service.
Advisory Expertise
  • Stay current with market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes to maintain expertise and ensure up‑to‑date advice for clients.
  • Ensure adherence to all governance standards and policies applicable to the Investment Advisory Team and the suitability process.
  • Maintain compliance with consumer protection regulations during client engagement.
Market Updates and Outlook

Provide regular, in‑depth market updates and outlooks to clients and internal teams, keeping all stakeholders informed of market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities.

Training & Development
  • Provide Relationship Managers with ongoing product training, market updates, and investment strategy guidance to enhance their ability to support clients effectively.
  • Regularly share market insights, corporate action summaries, and product updates to ensure RMs are well‑informed.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role
  • In‑depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, especially in the wealth management space, and a commitment to compliance.
  • Experience with discretionary portfolio management services is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or portfolio management.
