Risk Officer - Crypto​/Digital Assets

Our client is an early stage stablecoin startup, being built by successful exited fintech operators, who are now looking to hire for an Approved Risk Officer, ideally in Abu Dhabi, but open to those based across the UAE.

Responsibilities / Requirements include:

• 6+ years of experience in risk management within financial services, with a deep understanding of operational and conduct risk.
• Proven expertise in navigating regulated environments (preferably ADGM/FSRA or DIFC) and managing technology-heavy risk profiles.
• Experience in fintech, be it the digital asset / crypto space, blockchain technology, or custody providers.
• Define and execute the Enterprise Risk Management framework
• Ownership of risk policies and procedures
• Partner with the CTO to ensure both product structures, and cyber risk exposure are compliant
• Partner with Compliance and MLRO
