Position Overview

As Corporate Strategy and M&A Manager - Energy and Retail - Abu Dhabi, you will play a key role in shaping ADNOC's long-term expansion by managing high-value mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments across local and international markets. This role focuses on delivering successful outcomes across joint ventures, partnerships, and divestitures to strengthen ADNOC's presence in both fuel and non-fuel retail sectors.

Core Duties
  • Lead the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships in alignment with ADNOC's corporate M&A strategy
  • Oversee valuation, financial modelling, risk analysis, deal structuring, and integration planning for transactions
  • Support leadership by preparing investment proposals, strategic recommendations, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Coordinate due diligence processes by engaging internal teams and external advisors to ensure comprehensive analysis of target companies
  • Build business cases for each transaction, covering financial performance, market positioning, and long-term growth opportunities
  • Manage M&A reporting and ensure stakeholders receive accurate and timely updates on projects and deal status
  • Guide cross-functional collaboration to ensure project deadlines, budgets, and strategic objectives are met
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Law, or related discipline
  • At least 12 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or investment banking
  • Advanced expertise in financial modelling, valuation methods, and deal structuring
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end M&A processes and integrate acquired businesses
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong leadership and analytical skills
