Accountant General

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the general ledger including journal entries and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs while optimizing investment opportunities.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong academic background in financial principles.
• Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate setting, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in the manufacturing or service industry, demonstrating an understanding of sector‑specific financial practices.
• Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills considered an asset for multinational operations.
