Islamic Banking Retention Officer – Abu Dhabi, UAE

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking an Islamic Banking Retention Officer to manage and retain customers through tailored retention tools and programs. The role requires strong customer service skills, compliance awareness, and the ability to cross‑sell Islamic banking products while ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

• Manage customer retention using approved Islamic banking retention tools and programs
• Achieve assigned sales and retention targets while ensuring compliance with credit and risk policies
• Handle customer queries and issues promptly via phone or direct communication
• Implement procedures to improve client satisfaction and loyalty through service excellence
• Cross‑sell Islamic banking products and services based on client needs and preferences
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and ensure accuracy of details provided
• Collaborate with operations, credit, collections, and branches to meet service expectations
• Support team members by defining performance goals, coaching, and guiding towards targets
• Monitor market trends, competitor products, and pricing to enhance FAB's Islamic banking offering
• Adhere strictly to FAB policies, SOPs, and compliance regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Management, or related field
• 1‑2 years of experience in banking, preferably in Islamic banking or client service
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of Islamic financial services
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with banking industry practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance goals while maintaining service quality
