- Review credit proposals submitted to approval committees, ensuring alignment with risk appetite.
- Monitor country risk limits and industry risk limits, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Review and update credit risk policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Oversee IFRS9 staging and provisioning processes across Wholesale Banking and International Banking.
- Conduct analysis of asset quality, impairment charges, coverage ratios, and cost of risk.
- Prepare monthly dashboards, portfolio review reports, and business-segment analysis.
- Produce credit risk reporting for internal management and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor overdue exposures through the Past Due Not Impaired process and follow up on action plans.
- Prepare portfolio presentations for senior committees including CEC, BRCC, and GRCC.
- Support thematic risk studies and ECL reviews.
- Coordinate with ERM teams to support regulatory submissions.
- Review product programs and funding-related credit proposals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and portfolio monitoring practices.
- Ensure timely preparation of departmental and regulatory reports.
- At least five years of experience in credit risk roles within banking or financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of asset quality metrics, impairment, IFRS9 methodologies, and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of global financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and international banking exposures.
- Able to analyze large datasets and produce clear, accurate risk reports.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with relationship managers, senior stakeholders, and committees.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.
