Risk Management Specialist - ADNOC Group - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position OverviewRisk Management Specialist roles in Abu Dhabi with ADNOC Group support enterprise-wide risk governance by analyzing, monitoring, and reporting risk information. This role advises on the development and implementation of enterprise risk management and fraud risk management processes, strengthening performance, resilience, and informed decision‑making across maritime logistics and energy operations.

- Contribute to the development and continuous update of the integrated enterprise risk management framework, manuals, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support establishment of risk governance processes for periodic review, communication, and escalation of existing and emerging risks.
- Embed risk management concepts into day‑to‑day divisional, project, and site management.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis in collaboration with estimation, cost control, and planning teams.
- Advise and coordinate with risk champions on planning, scheduling, and execution of risk reviews and analyses.
- Monitor effectiveness of risk management processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain systems for risk identification, analysis, monitoring, reporting, and treatment.
- Track mitigation actions, highlight overdue items, update implementation status, and revise risk ratings.
- Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
- Update risk registers using inputs from KPIs, audits, incidents, and surveys and follow up mitigation plans.
- Analyze and periodically update corporate, group, and divisional risk profiles for top risks.
- Monitor KPIs and incidents to adjust risk and control ratings and follow up actions.
- Prepare risk reports based on reviews, analyses, and treatment plans for assessments conducted across the organization.
- Facilitate risk management workshops and periodic risk review exercises with risk owners.
- Deliver ERM awareness training and coach risk owners, coordinators, and action owners on tools and techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in enterprise risk management, governance, or compliance within large organizations.
- Strong analytical skills for qualitative and quantitative risk assessment.
- Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders and advise risk champions.
- Strong reporting, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Enterprise-level role influencing risk governance and performance across ADNOC Group.
- Exposure to strategic, operational, and investment-related risks.
