As Group Financial Controller within Damen Group Control, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure correct application of IFRS/GAAP across group entities.
- Design, implement, and maintain internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Assess complex accounting topics including leases, revenue recognition, impairments, and provisions.
- Harmonise accounting policies, KPIs, and reporting standards across the group.
- Support M&A, restructuring, and special financial projects.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of financial closing processes.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or group accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles.
- Experience with ERP and consolidation tools (e.g. SAP, One Stream).
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
