Manager Business Finance

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis of business opportunities such as new projects, investments and market expansions to evaluate financial viability and strategic fit
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to forecast outcomes and support decision‐making
• Calculate and interpret ROI for initiatives to prioritize investments
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses including profitability, cost‑benefit and margin analysis
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leadership
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders at various levels
• Identify financial risks such as cost overruns, revenue shortfalls and market fluctuations
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and support implementation of risk management practices
• Assist in contingency planning for potential financial challenges
• Support annual planning, budgeting and forecasting processes with relevant financial inputs
• Collaborate with central budgeting teams to ensure accurate and aligned budgets
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts covering revenue, expenses and capital requirements
• Create dashboards and management reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Perform advanced analytics on large datasets using tools like Alteryx and Azure Data Factory
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data in reporting
• Communicate financial insights clearly to business leaders and stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between the business unit and central finance teams
• Resolve financial discrepancies in coordination with central finance
• Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CA preferred
• Certification in Advanced Excel Modeling Experience
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance or business finance roles

• Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills
• Experience in financial modeling and advanced financial analysis
• Proficiency in tools such as Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, and advanced Excel
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to simplify complex financial information for non‑finance stakeholders
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with proactive approach
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ability to work with large datasets and deliver insights‑driven reporting
