Finance Manager How you can make your mark
The Finance Manager leads a team of Financial Accountants and Controllers, overseeing the financial administration of designated functional areas and providing strategic advice. This pivotal role ensures the financial integrity of the organization while offering strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. You will be working from our Abu Dhabi office and will be part of our Abu Dhabi finance team, consisting of around 75 people from different backgrounds.
Yourresponsibilities as a Finance Manager are:
- Overseeing the financial operations of the FSSC, including accounts payable, banking, general ledger, invoicing and intercompany recharges.
- Managing, coaching and continuously developing direct reports to achieve optimal team performance.
- Driving improvements and optimizing financial processes, systems and reporting to enhance transparency and visibility into current and future financial outcomes.
- Co-responsible for the complete planning & control cycle.
- Acting as a sparring partner to senior (financial) management, providing both solicited and unsolicited advice to management.
- Initiating and managing finance-related improvement projects.
- Managing departmental staff and costs, ensuring success of the department.
You can make your mark as finance manager if you have:
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a shared service environment.
- Experience to work in an international, diverse organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in financial systems and tools, with an emphasis on automation and efficiency improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical standards.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
