Finance Manager

The incumbent will be responsible for the supervision and handling of the financial affairs of the organization and supports sound business decisions through accurate and insightful financial information.
Responsibilities -
- Responsible to ensure that all financial and accounting process / procedures etc. comply with the Company’s/Group policies and procedures in all aspects. And in accordance with applicable IFRSs
- Responsible for preparation of company’s monthly/quarterly and annual financial and management accounts, including but not limited to Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Ledger through Dynamics 365 and other operational software in place.
- Work closely with the management to drive business performance, providing real time financial information, reports, analysis to avoid/reduce excessive direct or indirect costs.
- Closely monitor the projects’ costs by comparing actual VS budgets and taking immediate actions to avoid delays, excessive, expensive, out of scope purchases.
- Work closely with the procurement team in order to achieve targets in terms of cost, quality and payment terms.
- Maintain regular contact with projects team to ensure have updated project information.
- Prepare the final draft annual budget to be submitted to Management and Board for approval for the company and different stakeholders such as but not limited to the owners. Additionally prepare quarterly reviews against budget.
- Oversee and manage the Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credit process to ensure that all information in the Letter of Credit is accurate to ensure no delays or fines are incurred
- Coordinate with internal Clients and Companies to ensure that all accounts have been tallied, settled and updated on a monthly basis.
- Provide full support in relation to financial transactions and records to internal and external auditors to ensure accounts can be signed off and the audit is passed with minimum audit findings.
- Identify financial risks and implement measures to mitigate and manage risks effectively.
Educational qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelors in Commerce/ Accounting
- MBA-Finance is preferred,
- Professional qualifications CA, ACCA and/ or CPA are a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position (5 years management position)
- MS Office and other accounting tools, ORACLE. Fluent in English, Budgeting, Finalization and Account Closing, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), Funds Management, Financial Forecasting and Cost Analysis
