Accountant - UAE national

Black Pearl, a specialist recruitment agency in recruiting for well experienced finance/accounting professionals across the region.

We have been given a new mandate by our client, which is a financial institution based in Abu Dhabi to assist them in looking for an Accountant - Emirati national.

This role will support the Management Accounts Department
, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, monthly close support, and VAT-related activities
.

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing and payment support
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing and follow-up
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of records
• Assist with month-end close and basic financial reporting
• Support VAT reporting and audit-related requirements
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Hands‑on experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Working knowledge of VAT reporting and UAE financial regulations
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
