Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop a client base of HNWI and UHNWI, providing excellent service to generate net new business for the group and retain business through referrals and recommendations within the Group.
- Manage specific projects end‑to‑end (360°), including coordinating with other group colleagues.
- Develop new business through personal sources, existing professional connections, and introductions via the bank, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to generate new business and manage high‑profile client relationships.
- Promote the three main businesses of Private Banking, marketing, and business development to clients for both offshore (Switzerland) and onshore (UAE).
- Solicit business primarily, but not limited to, the disciplines of Private Banking’s trilogy—Banking, Fiduciary (wealth protection such as trusts, foundations, offshore companies), and Portfolio Management (execution only, advisory, and discretionary). Also include derivatives such as DCDs and esoteric funds (e.g., aircraft operating leases, mezzanine debt).
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken proficiency in English and proficiency in Arabic, French, Hindi, and/or Urdu as required by client geography.
- Respond quickly and professionally to all client requests on a 24/7, 365‑day basis, including weekends, while traveling or away from the office.
- Possess a track record of excellent academic performance from a reputable university—preferably in business, economics, marketing, MBA, or an accountancy/finance background.
- Exhibit strong relationship management and new/ongoing business development skills.
- Have at least five years of experience as an industry professional in private banking, coupled with experience in other banking environments and investment companies.
- 5+ years of relevant private banking experience.
- Strong interpersonal and client‑relationship skills.
- Multilingual ability in English plus at least one additional language (Arabic, French, Hindi, Urdu).
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage high‑profile clients.
- Proven track record of academic excellence.
- Experience in portfolio management, fiduciary services, and derivatives is desirable.
