The role is responsible for processing, encoding, and maintaining credit limits for credit facilities within the bank’s systems, ensuring accurate detailing before input and maintaining compliance with approved terms, policies, and procedures across head office, representative offices and international branches.
Key Responsibilities- Encode credit limits and maintain bank and country limits according to credit approvals.
- Apply interest rates, commissions, fees, and charges accurately as per applications.
- Prepare day‑to‑day transactions including loan memos, processing tickets, PPC discounting, settlements and SVC.
- Generate memos for provisioning accounts, customer grade changes, suspension of interest, and relevant write‑off entries.
- Prepare liability and no‑liability certificates and related letters.
- Maintain limits for approvals received from Credit for Initial CA, Annual Review, Extension Memo, and Interim Administrative Memo.
- Execute bulk upload for limit extensions for Corporate, PCG, Investment Banking clients and FI limits.
- Process downgrade and upgrade of counter parties in the system and Central Bank as per the Credit Approval Process.
- Prepare monthly reports such as CBRB mismatch report and mismatch in ORR between credit application and GLCMS.
- Update RB code in both GLCMS and T24 systems and confirm limits to stakeholders before account closure.
- Ensure 100% satisfaction rating by internal customers through superior service quality and proactive management of queries, exceptions, escalations, and deficiency reports.
- Stay informed about the latest regulatory developments from the UAE Central Bank and other legal entities.
- Adhere to published SOPs, SLAs, and understanding of relevant products and procedures.
- Support Team Leader in distributing work, maintaining workflow, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day transactions.
- Complete emails and other workflow management system tasks assigned in the unit and update stakeholders accordingly.
- Prepare instruction memos for loan operations regarding disbursement, repayment changes, settlements, maintenance, and fee collection.
- Prepare instruction memos for Client Service team to release excess margin held against facilities.
- Prepare instruction memos for amendment of overdraft pricing, deferring loan instalments and extending loan maturity.
- Encode bank and country limits as per approval and upload interest rate codes into bank systems.
- Prepare various reports as requested by HO‑CCU and the Sanctioning HO‑CAD Senior Management.
- Undertake special project assignments and report KPI and operational loss incidents promptly.
- Engage proactively with key stakeholders to ensure operational continuity without process breaches.
- Identify and highlight process enhancement opportunities.
- Adhere to leave management, back‑up planning, control activity tracker updates, and timely archiving of transactional documents.
- Follow all departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions.
- Demonstrate compliance with the organization’s values and ethics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for sustainability and cost reduction.
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports meeting department requirements.
- Maintain zero loss, no near‑miss income leakage, and target zero high‑risk error.
- Achieve more than 90% internal customer satisfaction score in surveys.
- Ensure no unauthorized breaches in policy, regulatory requirements, and SOPs.
- Obtain satisfactory ratings in all audits, with no critical findings.
- Deliver process improvement proposals and implement successful PIs.
- Introduce strong tools and processes to identify and manage BAU risks efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree or related discipline.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in the banking sector in credit facility functions with progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
