Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Director – FP&A to lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management functions across a large, diversified group in Abu Dhabi. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving financial insight, supporting strategic decision making, and ensuring strong financial discipline across the organization.

• Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning across the group.
• Develop robust financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business expansion.
• Establish and monitor key financial KPIs across business units.
• Deliver timely and accurate management reporting and variance analysis.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and capital allocation decisions.
• Conduct profitability, cost optimization, and pricing analysis.
• Support M&A activities, due diligence, and post-investment performance tracking where applicable.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision‑making.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance across planning processes.
• Drive improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing FP&A team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or ACCA preferred.
• 15 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial strategy.
• Proven experience in large, diversified groups or complex multi‑entity organizations.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial models, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI).
