AED 22,000 – 25,000 per month (depending on experience)

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant – Construction Finance to take ownership of project cost management, payment governance and financial controls across a growing portfolio of construction projects locally and internationally.

Coming from a building construction background, the successful candidate will be the custodian of project financial performance, overseeing budgets, protecting capital and ensuring strong financial control across all projects. This is a business critical role focused on improving governance, accountability and preventing financial leakage.

• Oversee project budgets, variations, forecasting and cost reporting to ensure projects remain financially controlled and on budget.
• Own construction AP and payments, ensuring strong controls, compliance and payment accuracy.
• Establish and enforce robust financial controls and governance processes, ensuring consistent adoption across all projects.
• Lead project cash flow forecasting, tracking committed, paid and forecast spend to support informed decision‑making.
• Drive AP performance and financial controls, promoting accountability, issue resolution and cost ownership across projects.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience working within construction projects.
• Proven experience implementing strong governance and financial control processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a commercial mindset focused on protecting budgets and margins.
• Must have construction sector experience.
