Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Hands‑on experience in handling walk‑in customers.
  • Manage client service counter functions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for walk‑in clients, receive instructions/documents, and attend client queries.
  • Carry out customer identification checks in line with the standard operating procedure.
  • Handle day‑to‑day activities assigned by the unit head for all corporate client services products.
  • Support relationship management teams by providing operational services and client support.
  • Cash‑management operation functions: inward/outward remittances, cheque clearing.
  • Other cash‑management related products & procedures.
  • Adhere to FAB policies and SOPs; review SOPs per audit and RMU requirement.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate process management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer data.
  • Participate actively in system changes/process enhancements.
  • Arrange timely service to clients, liaise with internal departments or branches.
  • Explain processing of inward/outward transfers, account‑to‑account transfers, post‑dated and current dated cheques.
  • Resolve queries from internal & external customers.
  • Provide statistics to MIS.
  • Back‑hand support to operations teams on account opening documentation, account maintenance, corporate credit card operations, cheque book requests, balance confirmation letters, return cheques, payments, charges, eChannel issues, client correspondence, exception handling, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum Qualification:

    Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of banking work experience specifically related to the role.
Technical & Behavioural Competencies
  • Proficiency processing banking systems, Windows & MS Office.
  • Typing and presentational skills; analytical and presentation skills.
  • Clear communication and articulation of thoughts.
  • Exhibits FAB core values.
