SAP FICO Consultant (Techno-Functional – S/4

HANA)

We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional SAP FICO Consultant to lead and support the end-to-end S/4

HANA implementation across a large group organization. This role requires a strong blend of functional finance expertise and SAP system design capability
, working closely with business stakeholders and external implementation partners.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between Finance and IT
, ensuring accurate translation of business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, particularly within complex, multi-entity or holding company environments.

• Lead and support S/4
  
  HANA greenfield implementation across the group
• Act as a liaison between finance stakeholders and implementation partners
  , ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Design, configure, and oversee SAP FICO modules (FI/CO) aligned to business requirements
• Translate finance requirements into structured SAP solutions and functional designs
• Drive design across key finance areas including:
  • Controllership and Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Treasury, Bank Connectivity, and Payment Workflows
  • Tax, VAT, and localization compliance
  • FP&A, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Define and implement Chart of Accounts, multi-entity structures, and group reporting frameworks
• Design and manage approval workflows, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and control frameworks
• Prepare key project documentation:
  • Process flows and business blueprints
  • Functional Design Specifications (FSDs)
  • UAT scripts and support execution
  • Data migration templates and validation
  • Cutover planning and execution
• Support UAT cycles, issue resolution, and go-live readiness
• Ensure financial integrity, compliance, and scalability of the SAP solution

• Proven experience in S/4
  
  HANA greenfield implementation projects
• Experience working within large group / multi-entity / holding company environments
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO with techno-functional capabilities
• Deep understanding of finance process design beyond system configuration
• Hands-on exposure to:
  • Controllership, R2R, P2P, O2C, and month-end close processes
  • Treasury, BCM, bank integrations, and payment workflows
  • Tax, VAT, and regional localization requirements
• Experience with FP&A, budgeting, and reporting tools (e.g., SAC, BPC, Group Reporting)
• Strong ability to create:
  • Business process documentation and blueprints
  • FSDs and solution design artefacts
  • UAT scripts, migration templates, and cutover plans
• Experience working directly with Finance leadership and external system integrators
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams

• Experience in introducing ERP systems from scratch (greenfield transformation)
• Exposure to S/4
  
  HANA Finance innovations and best practices
• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and internal control frameworks
