The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro‑business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari'ah compliant banking. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In

this role, your key responsibilities include
  • Product Development and Marketing – Formulate product strategies to grow market share and enhance profitability of existing products, and conceptualize, propose and implement new product propositions and strategic marketing alliances to ensure high visibility and competitive advantage. Monitor and control the product mix, portfolio composition, usage patterns and behavior, cost of funds and yields in accordance with business objectives and ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, associations and Bank guidelines.

    Manage strong customer communication by way of collaterals and term sheets for product information and establish customer campaigns through various channels to ensure growth in customer share. Constantly monitor market trends to incorporate any new developments, technology driven or otherwise, into the bank’s offerings. Monitor and control the advertising and promotion funds allocated to product programmes to ensure alignment with the allocated budgets.
  • Sales Management – Contribute constructively and creatively in the planning, development and implementation stages of all acquisition programmes to drive maximum product sales and awareness. Monitor and analyze performance of all acquisition programmes to ensure results are on track and, if not, identify problems/issues and recommend solutions to rectify them.
  • Partner Relationship Management – Work closely with external partners, vendors and other internal departments to achieve business objectives, conducting meetings and ensuring agreed reports are submitted in a timely manner with partners. Explore and seek opportunities to enhance value proposition to customers and to each other.
  • Budget Management – Contribute to the preparation of the business area’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  • People Management – Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement and motivation.
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures – Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best‑in‑class services, products and innovation.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.
  • Customer Service – Demonstrate our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in banking/financial institution.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Economics.
