We are seeking a responsible and reliable Debt Collector / Collection Officer to join our FMCG Distribution team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting outstanding payments from customers, ensuring timely recovery of receivables, maintaining accurate collection records, and coordinating with the Sales and Finance teams. The successful candidate should have prior experience in FMCG collections within the Abu Dhabi market and possess a valid UAE driving license.
Key Responsibilities- Follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments
- Visit customers and conduct field collections when required
- Maintain accurate collection records and reports
- Coordinate with the finance team to resolve payment‑related issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Debt Collector, Collection Officer, within the FMCG Distribution industry
- Strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi market and customer locations
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of invoice management, payment reconciliation, and receivables collection
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration are an advantage
- Previous experience working with FMCG distributors, wholesalers, or trading companies
