We are seeking a Collections Specialist with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset to be based in our Abu Dhabi office.
The successful candidate will specialize in the Credit Control and Collection process, invoicing efficiency and reporting, and the dispute resolution process with internal teams and customers within the Service Business. This role plays a key part in executing KONE’s customer credit management activities. Reporting to the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for implementing KONE’s credit policies to maintain an acceptable level of risk, ensure repayments are made on time, minimize losses, and economically collect arrears.
Note:
90% of activities will be on the field.
- Providing customer service regarding collection issues, processing customer refunds, processing and reviewing account adjustments, and resolving client discrepancies and short payments.
- Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts: customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.
- Reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
- Performing other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
- Enlisting the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
- Communicating and following up effectively with the sales department regarding customer accounts on time.
- Establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with dealers and sales.
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume corporate field collections experience.
- Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures.
- Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A driver’s license and UAE experience are a must.
