Location

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Onsite at Collins Aerospace, Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADGM TOWER 3, Al Maqam Tower, Global Market Square).

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced finance professional to lead the site’s finance function and serve as a key partner to the Site General Manager (GM). The role is responsible for executing financial plans, evaluating and enhancing financial processes, and providing key financial guidance to support decision‑making. It requires managing strong working relationships across the business and liaising with external financial partners and third‑party providers.

Responsibilities
  • Execute financial plans, including cost reduction strategies and cash management strategies, to support delivery of the business plans.
  • Drive and ensure a strong internal control environment, including compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley at the site.
  • Complete and review all monthly financial reporting requirements, including actual, budget, and forecast information for the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly requirements from Regional Finance, Corporate, JV Partners and other external parties, ensuring adherence to corporate accounting policies and GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with all annual statutory reporting and tax requirements.
  • Manage internal and external audits.
  • Drive monthly and annual budget and forecast preparations for the site.
  • Review and approve commercial bid proposals, identifying financial risks and ensuring acceptable financial return.
  • Lead the site finance team and provide monthly management reporting of actual financial and budgetary reports.
  • Manage relationships with Financial Shares Services (AP, AR & Treasury).
  • Oversee monthly collection targets and interface with customers on collections, rebates, etc.
  • Ensure the Appropriation Request process, including capital project modeling, is used to provide financial justification for equipment additions and new capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within the Site Finance processes and support regional CI initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with 5–8 years of progressive professional experience.
  • Experience managing small‑to‑medium operations, preferably within an aviation maintenance, repair, or service facility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JDE, SAP and One Stream (Factory experience preferred).
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with strong business and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure in time‑sensitive environments.
  • Action‑oriented, results‑driven, adaptable with a flexible approach to achieving goals.
  • Customer‑focused mindset, dedicated to meeting internal and external stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience driving business performance and leading complex initiatives aligned with Enterprise Excellence objectives.
  • Knowledge of financial governance, compliance and cost‑structure optimization.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and goal‑achievement capabilities with sound judgment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proactive in identifying, addressing and resolving issues.
  • Comfortable interfacing with senior management, employees and external partners.
  • Experience operating in global environments with exposure to diverse cultures.
  • Fluency in English required;
    Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Have legal right to work and live in the UAE (preferred).
