About our client
We are working on an exciting opportunity with an Abu Dhabi based multi-asset investment firm that deploys capital across public and private markets. The team invests across all sectors, focusing on Europe and the US. What the job involves

The finance manager will play an important role in developing and shaping the finance function. The role will be responsible for a team of senior accountants, and for general ledger management which will include month and year end closes, and reporting. The individual will report to the financial controller.

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements (income, balance sheet etc.)
• Knowledgeable in local UAE financial and taxation policies, handle tax planning, local tax declaration, submitting audit reports to authorities
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory, legal requirements
• Manage a team of senior accountants.

Who we are looking for

• CPA, ACA, CMA or ACCA qualified
• Proficiency with Oracle Net Suite
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Experience of the UAE is an advantage. Arabic language is not a requirement
• Degree in finance, accounting or a related field
