Role DescriptionThe Finance Associate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the Group while also supporting selected clients with financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, control, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory-aligned financial support. The position offers increasing responsibility and growth opportunities as the Group continues to expand.
Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Finance
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across Group entities, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS and applicable local requirements.
Develop and manage strategic financial dashboards for the Group, including consolidated and entity-level:
Profit and Loss performance
Cash flow position
Liquidity management
Working capital monitoring
Profitability analysis
Budget versus actual performance
Rolling forecasts
Cost structure analysis
Other key financial KPIs required for leadership reporting and decision-making
Own and continuously update the Group Business Plan, ensuring financial projections, growth assumptions, investment requirements, revenue targets, and cost structures remain accurate, aligned with Group strategy, and ready for leadership, shareholder, and investor review.
Coordinate external audits, tax filings, VAT preparation and submissions, and statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with external advisors.
Design, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, controls, and risk management frameworks to support a growing multi-entity organization.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency across financial systems and reporting structures.
Client Finance & Regulatory Support
Assist clients with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Support clients in monitoring capital adequacy, liquidity, and prudential metrics in line with regulatory requirements.
Assist with the preparation of regulatory and prudential financial reports and submissions.
Support client teams in implementing accounting processes and internal control frameworks.
Liaise with auditors, regulators, and advisors on routine finance and reporting matters.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is mandatory.
3–5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles, preferably within regulated financial services, advisory firms, or multi-entity environments.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing full financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reporting.
Solid understanding of capital adequacy, liquidity monitoring, and prudential reporting requirements within regulated financial services.
Demonstrated experience implementing and operating financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
High level of accuracy, integrity, discretion, and reliability.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with leadership teams, clients, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in accounting and reporting systems, including advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms is considered an advantage.
