JOB SUMMARY INTRODUCTION
The role is to adherence the regulation of Mortgages Real Estate RE - Consumer Banking CB Credit Valuation team monitoring and resolving of valuation disputes and escalations The role required to manage relationship and liaise with External Vendors Product Mortgages Direct Sourcing Channels and all FAB Branches UAE for smooth processing enhancement and standardization of the property valuation Commercial Real Estate CRE Estate Finance EF amp Vanilla Products
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Follow all relevant departmental policies processes standard operating procedures and instructions so valuation is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Demonstrate compliance to organisation s values and ethics to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement standardization and sustainability of systems processes and practices considering global standards productivity improvement
- Supervision in the preparation of timely and accurate TAT and reports to meet department requirements policies and quality standards
- Provide support for Escalations amp disputes raised by business of Mortgages Real Estate - CB Credit Valuations
- Review and finalize financial Invoices received from external Emplaned Vendors and liaise with Product Mortgage for the expense accruing dues against valuation fee charges
- Monitoring and managing controls to adherence the valuations process
- Review valuations Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in reports Review invoices rectify discrepancies and due charges of external vendors
- Adhere to strict policy solutions are provided in consultation with the appropriate level for solving problem and ensuring that the external customer of bank is given efficient service
- Backup to Initiate property valuation request with external property valuators for mortgage loans
- Prepare MIS statistics monthly valuation report presentations consolidated daily status reports for stakeholders
- Reviewing Initial valuation request queries concerns Returned Corrections
- After reviewing discrepancies in request revert with corrections to the Branches
- Received valuation request with required documents and fee reviewed again and send to evaluators
- Cancellation of request in case of inspection not possible and re-initiate valuation request
- Reviewed response of evaluators reports asking price compared with Market value rentals request to revise the report in case of amendments and review amendments corrections in the report
- Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies of Credit Mortgage Valuation as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks
- Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation process of valuation and provide concurrence to the valuation companies and sourcing channels
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Banking or any related discipline.
3 years relevant experience, including 1 year in similar role
