The Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive financial analysis, reporting and business partnering support to the Regional Finance Manager across the Middle East region. The role will support regional consolidation, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, working capital, cash flow and operational business partnering, while also providing analytical support for strategic finance projects.
The role will work closely with Finance, Operations, Commercial and Corporate functions to translate financial data into meaningful insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed business decisions.
The position will also support the Regional Finance Manager on strategic projects including investments, capital expenditure, ADIO grants, due diligence, financial projections, goodwill and investment impairment assessments, and other corporate initiatives.
Responsibilities1. Regional Reporting & Consolidation
- Support monthly regional consolidation and management reporting across multiple entities.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow information.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and investigate consolidation differences.
- Analyze actual results against budget, forecast and prior periods.
- Prepare monthly reporting packs, KPI analysis and management commentary.
- Investigate significant variances and provide clear explanations and recommendations.
- Support Group Finance, audit and year-end reporting requirements.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and rolling financial projections.
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, working capital and cash flow.
- Develop financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis to support management decisions.
- Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts and identify key trends and risks.
- Prepare financial projections and sensitivity analysis for business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs and analytical tools.
3. Business Partnering with Operations
- Act as a finance business partner to Operations and project teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of operational and project drivers affecting revenue, costs, margins and cash flow.
- Work with Operations to analyze project performance, profitability, cost overruns and margin risks.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
- Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve profitability and financial performance.
- Support business cases, project evaluations and commercial decisions.
4. Working Capital & Cash Flow
- Monitor and analyze key working capital metrics including DSO, DPO, inventory and overdue receivables.
- Support regional cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis.
- Identify working capital risks and opportunities and work with Operations and Commercial teams on improvement initiatives.
- Analyze cash conversion and project-related cash flow requirements.
5. Strategic Finance & Special Projects
Provide analytical and financial support to the Regional Finance Manager on regional and corporate strategic initiatives, including:
- Investment and capital expenditure analysis.
- New business, expansion and manufacturing investment projects.
- Preparation of business cases, financial models and investment projections.
- ADIO grant-related activities, including claims tracking, reporting, reconciliations, eligible expenditure analysis and audit/AUP support.
