Senior Analyst -Commercial Audit- UAE National

A confidential Government Entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly capable Senior Analyst – Commercial Audit to join its Audit & Compliance function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits across procurement, contracts, commercial activities, and financial compliance
, with a focus on ensuring transparency, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across capital projects.

• Conduct audits of procurement processes, supplier selection, contract formation, and contract administration.
• Develop audit plans, including scope, objectives, and methodologies.
• Assess compliance with financial regulations, government requirements, and internal policies.
• Review commercial contracts for legal, regulatory, and policy compliance.
• Identify financial, procurement, and compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and maintain records of findings and corrective actions.
• Provide practical recommendations to improve procurement and contract management processes.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes, audit methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial auditing, preferably within procurement, contracts, commercial audit, or compliance
  .

• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and risk assessment
• Understanding of financial regulations and government requirements
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze procurement and commercial contracts
• CIA / CPA or equivalent professional certification is an advantage
