Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage daily stewarding operations, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general kitchen sanitation.
* Ensure strict adherence to all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards within the kitchen and related areas.
* Supervise, train, and motivate the stewarding team, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with procedures.
* Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, initiating orders as required.
* Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure a smooth flow of clean and sanitized items.
* Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.## Requirements
* Proven experience in a stewarding or similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong understanding of HACCP principles and other food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and guide staff.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with various departments.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as needed.
